Go Giants! (Marc's First Hockey Game)

A couple of weeks ago, the Vancouver Giants were playing a Sunday afternoon game. The perfect opportunity to expose Marc to his first live game (they lost, but it didn't matter).

The highlight of the night (for Marc) was "running away from Dad" apparently. And I thought it was going to be the zamboni, the hotdog, the popcorn, or being able to wave the flag every time they scored. Nope.

Mid-way through the third period, Marc turned to me, pointed to the ice and said, "Marc's turn". I told him that he had to have lessons first and learn to skate. He's been practicing ever since, and has since decided to ask Santa for 'skaters' and a helmet. Santa... are you listening?
